- 3D inspection in battery productionOn cell seals, tabs and pack beads, a photo only shows that the bead is there. The SG-500 checks position, breaks and offset. When height is required, add the 0.0025 mm 3D line laser, and keep the measurement in the same record as the laser code on the cell.
- Wear parts of a laser marker and a 3D inspectorOn inline marking with the S350-X, S450-X and S500-X, and on 3D glue-path inspection, the protective window, the filter and the fan usually fail before the source. Once fume from PCB, housing or aluminum-shell marking dirties the window, the 2D code goes soft and the bead-height reading drifts. Both look like a failed laser.
- Traceability and inspection on appliance linesRefrigerators, washers and small appliances contain control boards, harnesses and coated covers. The control board takes a traceability code on the S450-X and a conformal-coat check on the SC-350. Harnesses, plastic shells and aluminum shells take a laser 2D code. Dispensed beads are checked for path and breaks on the SG-500.
- Keep-out zones and yield in coating inspectionMost false fails on conformal coat score a connector or a component body as missing coat. The SC-350 judges the coat region, the keep-out and the component body separately. For a larger board, or when both sides must be seen, use the SC-500 or the SC-600.
